Dell.com Browse Simplification // Accessories & Software Enhancements in the Sales Path

In efforts to simplify and optimize the Dell website, my team launched a couple of design projects. In the main simplification project we validated new concepts and designs by taking a fully fleshed out and functional prototype into a large usability study. A separate but parallel project was designed to enhance the browse path to cart. It was intended to encourage users to include accessories and software in their product purchase. I worked closely with the Information Architect to augment the flow while simultaneously constructing the UI in code. The learnings from both of these projects have been applied to dell.com.
